The Vision
Under the direction of Ms. Kim Sandifer the Oakdale High School Band program, now in it's second year, offers students a rich education in music and a wholesome social environment where they can grow in the OHS band community.
OHS Band Boosters Support Programs All Year Long
While the marching band and color guard during the fall season may be the most visible offering in our program, there are other ensembles being developed such as indoor guard and percussion groups for winter, and concert and jazz bands for winter and spring to name a few. The Oakdale High School Band Boosers invite you to join us in the much-needed support of music education in or community. With our dedicatd teaching staff, hardworking students, and our tireless parent volunteers we have almost everything we neeed to grow our program to meet our vision.

The "Bear" Necessities
OHS is a new school with a new and band and while enthusiasm and excitement are high, the funds needed to develop and support our marching band and other OHS band and guard programs are low. Virtually all of our expenses are raised by our OHS Band Boosters organization. The OHS Band Boosters is a 501(c)(3) organizaton. Your tax deductable donation will help us fund transportation and purhase equipment and drill design.
By becoming a friend to the OHS Band you will help the Oakdale High School Band program establish a tradition of comprehensive music education.
In these difficult economic times your donation will assist the OHS band staff and volunteers to expand the program to full potential through reducing the financial burden on our students and their families.
