In the Marching band, Brad became the brass section leader as a sophomore, and helped lead his band to ACI's, where the Cougar Band took 1st place. While performing at CHS, Brad was privileged to attend West Chester University's Leadership School. There he learned how to challenge students to become outstanding leaders and performers. Brad pushes our students with an exceptional dedication to the perfection of music.
Working experience includes: working for Music and Arts as a brass repair technician and in retail locations. After graduation of high school, Brad continued to help the brass section at CHS, along with filming practices and competitions. Brad has also worked as low brass and visual instructor for the Gov. Thomas Johnson Marching Band and Oakdale High School Marching Band. This season he is excited to be working closely with the Oakdale Marching Band again to help the students be all they can be!
Lizzy was also an active member of the Color Guard program here at Oakdale for three years, being captain of the Indoor Program in the Spring of 2014 where she was the lead soloist for the Show, “Over the Love”. She is trained in all three pieces of equipment, rifle, sabre and flag.
She is currently attending University of Maryland, College Park as a Physiology and Neurobiology major. She is very excited to be helping out the Band Program this season and helping the students in their effort to achieve greatness. She hopes to be able to share her knowledge of dance and movement with all members of the program to help them grow as a program and as individuals.
